"The kit arrived well packed and undamaged. The neck/body joint fit snugly, as it should for a setneck design. This was a fun build and something I can definitely see myself becoming a luthier in the near future !!! I did upgrade the tuners from "wingnuts" to pearl buttons, for looks. I bought Hofner staple mini humbuckers, for sound. And I also added an oval jack plate. I have 2 other kits, one near completion and a custom order that just shipped. I can see buying more kits/custom orders in the future. Here's my "Chrofner" Beatle Bass."
